Roller Coaster of Life

I’ve been home all day. It’s been nice, but I’ve had a lot of time on my hands. I worked on a paper for English, wrote in my journal, listened to music, read, ect., but I’ve also been able to think. Not just about what I was going to have for supper or what I was going to wear tomorrow. I just sat there and thought about life. About everything.

I’m not going to lie. My life has been a roller coaster lately. It’s like going to an amusement park and riding the biggest roller coaster and finally getting to the end, and you hear the breaks screech, and you halt to a stop finally. Then all the sudden, no one let’s you off and it starts going again. Over and over again.

I hasn’t been all bad, but it hasn’t been all good either. I’m just not quite sure what to do, but if we didn’t have times like these, life would be so boring though, but that fact doesn’t make it any easier. I’m just waiting for everything to fall back into place. It’s like I am a five year old with a hundred piece puzzle. I have all the pieces, but I don’t know what the heck to do with them! Haha.

I’m sorry for ranting. I try to be uplifting on here, but this post was the opposite. I’ll finish by saying that I know there’s hope and everything will be okay, but for now I’m just waiting for the instructor to let me off this roller coaster. 😉

Four Reasons to Journal

I have tons of hobbies. I write, sing, read, knit, ect., but my favorite thing to do is journal. I just love writing down my memories, thoughts, and dreams. Although it may not be for everyone, I’m going to give you 4 reasons why you should give it a shot.

Reason #1: Helps Relieve Stress. Sometimes the events of our every day lives can become overwhelming, and you just feel like you can’t even think straight. Well it really helps to write your thoughts feelings down. It enables you to free your mind and think more clearly. It is like having a personal therapist anytime you need one.

Reason #2: You Can Look Back. A great thing about journaling is that you are able to look back and see what you’ve gone through. Also if you ever need to smile, try to flip through your journal and find a happy memory.

Reason #3: Sharpens Your Memory. When you write down the events of your day, you are digging back into your mind; therefore, it will make you remember it longer. Plus, the mere act of writing something down is good for memory too.

Reason #4: You Can Pass It Down. One of the biggest reasons to journal is so that you will have something to pass down to your children that they can pass down to their children and so on and so on. People will be able to see what your life was like, and they can still feel connected to you many years after you are gone.

So why not give it a try? You might really enjoy it! Just buy a journal (leather ones work very well), and get yourself a favorite pen, and write away! 🙂

For The One I Love.

My love. You are the best thing that’s ever happened to me. These past few years with you have been simply amazing. You make me fall deeper in love more and more each day.

We’ve had so many fun memories together. Like when we sing off key in your car together. Or when we act silly and don’t make sense. Or when we go to the mall just to walk. Or when we sit in parking lots in deep conversations then leave the place because we forgot what we went there for. You get the idea. Haha. 🙂

Also I love how you never get upset with me even though I am stubborn and hard to reason with sometimes. I love how you never give up on me. You are my rock. You hold me when I cry. You make me laugh when I’m sad. You always tell me to keep my head up and be strong.

No matter where this life takes us, I will always be standing behind you. I’ve got your back. I’m not only your girlfriend, I’m your partner in crime, and together we can conquer this world!

I love you so much.

Forever and always.💜
